Itinerary
Our Fes desert tour starts in the morning and we pick you up from your hotel. We departure to Ifrane, known as the “Switezland of Morocco” due its architecture. We head towards Azrou to watch local monkies in the cedar forest in Atlas mountains. We continue to Midelt, famous for mineral products and then we cross the pass of Tizi n Talghamt to reach Erfoud . The city is famous for fossil products. We drive to Rissani and Merzouga desert.
In Merzouga desert we prepare for camel ride into the sand dunes. We enjoy beautiful desert sand and after 90 minutes we reach desert camp where we spend this night in an Nomad desert tents with Berber dinner. Local guides will play drums music for us in the Sahara desert. We enjoy amazing desert sunset.
Today we visit the Nomads living in desert. We visit the village of Khamlia to enjoy the famous local Gnawa musicians. We experience Berber cooking lesson , we may enjoy quad / buggy driving in desert. We will have 4×4 desert tour and you will have a traditional Berber pizza lunch in Rissani. In the afternoon we prepare for camel ride into desert and you spend the night in the Sahara desert camp. You will have a Berber traditional dinner in camp and we listen to traditional Berber music.
Today our 3-Day tour from Fes continues and we wake early to enjoy the desert sunrise over the dunes in Merzouga. Then we ride camels back to the desert hotel and after breakfast we departure through Ziz Valley to Midelt , passing the cedar forests in Azrou to reach city of Fes. That’s the end of our Fes desert tour.
