Day 1 MARRAKECH

This South Morocco Trip start: pick up at the airport to Marrakech, Day to visit the city. Marrakech is a city that comes in four colors: the ocher earth, the white of the Atlas, the blue of the sky and the green of the gardens. Marrakech is positioned on the great plain of Haouz, surrounded by the high Atlas mountains, it has been selected, in the past by Abou Bakr, commander of the Almoravidi, for the abundance of water. The city has been built with materials found in the area: the wood of the Atlas jungles, the blue stone of the rocks and the sand. This is how Marrakech was born, an oasis of snow and gold. Dinner and accommodation in Riyadh

Day 2 MARRAKECH – AIT BENHADDOU – OUARZAZATE

After breakfast, Leaving to the south east of Morocco, passing through the village of Ait Ourir, the street shrinks and starts to climb to cross the 2,260 meters passoTiz-en-Tichka, to the slopes the valley is wet of Oued Tamesna . You can see small villages in the life of watercourses like Tighremt, (henil) and Irhem N’Ougdal.Following we find another jewel of the region, declared World Heritage UNESCO, Ait Benhaddou. A fortified town with crenellated towers, which is one of the most beautiful Kasbha in the Glaui region. also known as Hollywood in Africa, films such as Gladiator or The Kingdom of Heaven have been filmed there.

Day 3 OUARZAZATE – Valley of Roses – Dades Valley- TODRA’S GORGES:

After breakfast, departure in the morning for the visit of the cared for with their kasbah. continue to the discovery of the village of Skoura, 42 km, population that lives in the valley of the palms. A walk through the palm grove, the secrets of the kasbah and the lush vegetation. It will start from here towards the Gorges of Dades passing through Boulmane, a town that opens between the banks of the Dades. The street is scattered with kasbahs and Ksour and the landscape presents ocher, red and mauve dyed given by the rock formations, the almond trees and the green of the vegetation that coasts the river. From this point the street climbs for 25km about to cross rocky plateau where they graze camels, the route is full of Ksour, oasis and palms therefore we will reach Tineghir, castled at 1350 m of height and in part surrounded by a palm grove. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Day 4 TODRA – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA DESERT

After breakfast, Visit the Todra Gorges. The walls are plumb and are getting more and more grips, reaching 300 m in height. After the vision of this spectacular scenario we will go to know the village Tinejdad, (55 km), to reach the Ksar de Touroug, (35 km), a fortified city surrounded by a splendid oasis. Then you enter the Jorf palms that extend to the Erfoud where the best dates of the country are collected. At last we reach the dunes of the desert of fine golden sand. The dunes of Merzouga are reachable in the car thanks to the asphalt tape that replaces the old track, desert. We change the traction of 4×4 by the 8×8 (camels) to cross the great dunes of the desert. We will be 2 hours with the camels. We will spend the night in the heart of the desert under the nomadic tents and so we can quietly see the sunset, stars, the moon and the sunrise. Dinner and accommodation in Camp (bivuac).

Day 5 MERZOUGA – RISSANI – ZAGORA

After breakfast, departure through Zagora Our South Morocco Trip continues with a paved road, towards the southern regions of the Sahara Djebel Sagha, then Rissani is reached .3 km before arriving, you enter the village of Alnif along a climbing street through an arid landscape and you reach the village of Mercissi, in the heart of the desert. After Alnif, we reach the palm grove of Tazzarine, a true jewel oasis to continue, then, by Djebel Tizouguirine, through the cities of NKob, Tansikht, to the Draa Valley, a huge green tongue that enters the desert for about 250 miles and that will take you to Zagora. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Day 6 ZAGORA – MHAMID – ERG CHEGAGA DUNES

After breakfast, departure through Tamagarout and Mhamid desert. From Zagora we drive towards Erg Chegaga through the Draa valley , discovering numerous villages and oases. After Tamagarout we will cross the Djebel Ben Salman with its heart-shaped dunes in Tinfo, secured an impressive tour. before  Arrival to Erg Chegaga we have to drive in Hamada ( black desert), dinner and accommodation in camp.

Day 7 ERG CHEGAGA – TAZNKHAT – MARRAKECH

After breakfast, our South Morocco Trip continue for Marrakech, from Erg Chegaga we head towards the high Atlas, Return to Marrakech by the Tiz-en-Tichka hill, in the heart of the Atlas. before that we have to stop in TAZNKHAT captial rugas in Morocco. arrival to Marrakech around 18:20. overnight in hotel or Riad.

Day 8 MARRAKECH – AIRPORT

Accompaniment to the airport in the flight schedule and departure from Marrakech. End of our South Morocco Trip 8 Days.
